YouthPlaces provides a variety of enrollment and drop-in based programs based on you(r) teen's interest and/or hobbies (Hobbies2Opportunties or H2O). Our service delivery is designed to build the social and emotional learning of young people no matter their background/circumstance.
•YP LEADS: teen leadership and advocacy development program designed to build skills and connect youth to regional leadership opportunities.
•YP PLAYS: sports and recreational programs created in fun environments that enable youth to let off steam or build upon their in-school sports and recreation goals.
•YP WORKS: workforce programs designed around the future of work for teens whom are interested in obtaining jobs.
•YP FUTURES: college and career planning programs including college visits and a weeklong free college tour across the state of Pennsylvania.
•YP TECH: program teaching teens digital literacy, basic to advanced skills in coding, web design and gaming.
•YP LEARNS: in-house project-based education and tutoring programs
•YP MAKERS: maker-space where teens are able to engage in creative expression and entrepreneurship; also includes a recording studio and podcasting/you tube development programs.
